Most shops don’t need another chatbot first. They need to know where the intake path fails after hours — missing callback path, weak urgency capture, no photo prompt, or no human handoff.
Score your public intake path (10 minutes)
- Open your live contact / request form on a phone (not just desktop).
- Submit a fake after-hours emergency with incomplete address and no photo.
- Note what the confirmation says: who calls back, when, and how.
- Check whether urgency, trade, service area, and after-hours flag are captured.
- Check whether a human can triage the lead without opening five tools.
- Ask: if this arrived at 11:40pm Saturday, would revenue be protected?
What “pass” looks like
- Caller gets a clear next step (call, text, or scheduled callback) — not a dead thank-you.
- Missing fields are explicit, not silent.
- Emergency vs quote vs maintenance can be separated without guessing.
- Someone on-call can act from one screen.
Next step
Use the free workbench to practice scoring fictional tickets with the same five checks, then decide whether you need a $79 eval of your live path or a one-time $500 conversion fix.
